History: All Ireland Club Sevens
All Ireland Senior Club 7-A-Side Cup started in 1985. Our first team to reach this final and win it was Padraig Pearses of Roscommon in 1999 by beating Portobello of Dublin.
2001 Corofin of Galway met Cooraclare of Clare in the final where the latter won by one point. 2002 Padraig Pearses were back once again in the final where they took on last year's winners Cooraclare. Pearses put Connacht on the map again to take the first of three club All Irelands for us of the weekend on a score of 4-9 to Cooraclare 2-4.
2004 saw Carnacon winning this title by defeating Shelimaliers of Wexford to make it three in a row for Connacht teams.
Corofin of Galway contested the finals again in 2003 and 2007 both against Ballmacarby of Waterford, they shared the spoils, Corofin took the 2003 final while Ballmacarby took the 2007 title.
For the Senior Plate we have two teams winning the title to date and three teams were runners up in finals. 2000 Padraig Pearses won by beating South Kerry, 2004 Hollymount captured the title by defeating Naomh Mearnog of Dublin. St. Brendans of Galway were unlucky against Seneschalstown of Meath in 2006. St. Brigids were defeated in 2008 by Na Fianna of Dublin while in 2009 Corofin were beaten by Ballyboden St. Endas of Dublin.
Aughawillan of Leitrim has played in the Intermediate championship club cup 7-a-side finals twice but was defeated on both occasions in 2002 by Clashmore of Waterford and in 2003 by Dr. Crokes of Kerry.
In 2007 Tuam/Cortoon of Galway reached the championship final where they suffered a four-point defeat at the hands of Glen from Derry. An Fhairce (Clonbur) of Galway reached the final with Brian Boru of Tipperary where Brian Boru won.
Kilkerrin/Clonberne of Galway won the Tesco All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship 7-a-side final over their neighbours Milltown in 2011.
In the Intermediate Shield 7-A-Side club Aughawillan of Leitrim has won two titles, 2001 they beat St. Vals of Cork and in 2004 they beat Clann Eireann of Armagh.
Aughawillan again reached the shield final again in 2005 where Cappawhite of Tipperary piped them by one point, 2-4 to 2-3. Also in 2005 Louisburgh of Mayo were defeated by The Banner in the Quarterfinal.
2007 Grainne Mhaols of Galway came to the 7's for the first time and did the business when the became the intermediate shield winners when theydefeated St. Fortchens of Carlow by 7-2 to 4-2. Glenamaddy of Galway in 2009 also won this title by deafeating Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin.
2010 Milltown of Galway won the Tesco All Ireland Intermediate Club Shield Championship 7-a-side final over Arklow Geraldines Wicklow.
1998 the Junior club 7-A-Side began. Milltown of Galway they were runners up to Laune Rangers of Kerry in 2004. 2005 Kilglass Gaels of Roscommon defeated Wolfe Tones by 7-6 to no score in the Quarterfinal but they themselves were beaten in the Semi-final by Laune Rangers of Kerry.
Milltown were back again in the final in 2006, Emyvale of Monaghan were the opposition and victory came West. Now Milltown in 2007 were defending their title against Ballyna of Kildare with Milltown claiming back to back titles on a score of 6-6 to 1-6. Glenamaddy of Galway reached this final in 2008 only to go under to Abbeyside of Waterford.
2010 Caltra Cuans of Galway won the Tesco All Ireland Junior Club Championship 7-a-side final over Cuala Dublin.
Geevagh of Sligo was our first team to contest the Junior Shield 7 a side in 2003 but lost to the hands of Fingallians of Dublin.
2004 saw Kilglass of Roscommon defeating St. Colm's of Derry. Kilglass of Roscommon again in 2006 contested the shield final but were beaten by Eadestown of Kildare.
2010 Glinsk of Galway won the Tesco All Ireland Junior Club Shield Championship 7-a-side final over Carrigtwohill Cork.
